Luke's Visitor: This is a Book I wrote in dedication to my late uncle, whose aircraft was lost over Italy during the second world war. It contains the elements of supernatural visitation. Journeying the reader through an ancient Dell situated close to the centre of  Edinburgh. Later transports us into a Turbulent Period in WW2 History.

It attempts to ask the big questions in Life about how our past shapes our future. About how love conquers all. I hope you enjoy it...




Synopsis : Luke enjoyed retirement.

Then one day, a unusual visitor arrived with a message from his past. As a consequence his comfortable existence was turned upside down; everything he held dear was now in doubt. What did this stranger want?  Who was he? Luke was determined to find out.  This thought-provoking story is about the morality of love and war, on how our past changes our future.  It is a story of adversity, bravery, tragedy and ultimately, the power of love.

The reader is transported into an Italy in turmoil. We meet Arianna, a woman of substance who will do all necessary to find her child ..and Peter and his crew pilot the Lancaster into the heart of the storm. Then there is Claire, whose parents were scarred by events in Spain under Franco’s ruthless regime. Maybe the answer lies in an isolated Monastery somewhere in the heart of the Italian countryside. Luke must travel to Italy to confront his past.
